Fiiish Leurres produce incredibly popular lures, especially amongst bass fishermen. Their range of lures include the well known Black Minnow and Crazy Sand Eels and we are delighted to stock lures from both these ranges.
The lures are a paddletail system consisting of jig heads, bodies and hooks. The jig heads come in a variety of designs and weights and the bodies have varying lengths and many different colours. Therefore, by purchasing the components separately you can create your perfect lure!
We choose to mainly stock the pre-rigged lures which are available as a Combo pack including one complete lure and a spare body or a Double Combo pack consisting of two fully rigged lures.

The tables below show the different combinations of jig head and bodies that are available and also indicate which ones we currently have in stock.

It is important to strike hard when a fish hits the lure to ensure a good hook up!
Choose the correct size and weight of lure depending on the depth of water you are fishing to ensure you are reaching the seabed.
For more curious species of fish, use a heavier head to enduce a take by creating disturbance on the sea bed.
Allow the lure to hit the bottom and then lift the rod to start working the lure. It is better to put a slow to medium sink and draw action on the lure rather than jerk it around too quickly

On the Bottom, Mid Water or up on the SurfaceDepending on where the fish are feeding, the Crazy Sand Eel can be fished throughout the water column, from the sea bed to just beneath the surface of the water.
An active, fast moving energetic Sand eel is a key target for many predators. To escape, sand eels will often flee from the sand and swim fast into the open water towards the surface.
When fish are hunting, they will chase their prey in open water and it is easier for them to identify fast moving baitfish giving off lots of vibration and movement. This intensely high water displacement and vibrating action will attract fish from all around in even the toughest conditions.
The slender profile of the Crazy Sand Eel makes it sink to the bottom far quicker than the Black Minnow. It’s upturned paddle tail gives it an intense action that can be enjoyed using the lightest of tackle!
