Proper useful

Used this bag of wood chips on chicken thighs at the weekend. The smoke was good, not too harsh, and it made the food taste like we had made a bit more effort than we actually had. Nice result without that bitter edge you sometimes get when the smoke is too heavy. I started gently with the smoke because I have ruined food before by overdoing it. I am still learning the smoking side, so take this as a normal home-cook view. The flavour worked better than I expected for a first try. The chips were easy to measure out for a smaller cook. It made us slow down and actually taste what we had cooked.

Highly recommend

I used the smoking dust for a light smoke and it was easy to control. The smoking dust made me want to try a few more flavours next time. I started with a small line of mixed fruit dust because cold smoking is easy to overdo.

Good packaging

It made the food taste like I had made more effort. I liked that it gave a smoky flavour without needing a big outdoor smoker. Nice enough smoker box set and the delivery side was fine. I noticed this smoker box set most through the flavour result. Arrived quickly and well packed.
