About this product

A compact sea fishing kit for holidays and first trips. The Namazu 5ft telescopic rod and reel combo collapses down, so the whole kit fits in its backpack.

The accessories box covers spinning, float fishing and bottom fishing, with a Seeka spinner, an Eddystone eel soft lure, mackerel feathers, a float kit, weights, hooks and swivels. You also get preserved sandeel bait, two guides and easy-to-follow water-resistant instructions.

Want more in the box? The Telescopic Plus kit adds a ready-made sea rig, Sidewinder sandeels, a drop net, scales and a priest/disgorger.

How to use

Fishing in four steps

Set up on the beach in minutes. Everything folds back into the bag.

1Extend the rod

Open out the telescopic rod and thread the line through the rings.

2Follow the instructions

The water-resistant instructions show how to set up for spinning, float fishing or bottom fishing.

3Choose a lure or bait

Clip on the spinner, soft lure or feathers, or bait the hooks with sandeel under the float or with a 1oz bomb.

4Cast, then pack down

Afterwards, rinse the kit, dry it and collapse it back into the backpack.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. It comes with water-resistant instructions and two guides, so a beginner can start sea fishing without working out what to buy.

Do I need anything else?

Only a fishing licence where one is required. Preserved sandeel bait is included to get you started.

Can children use it?

Only with an adult. Hooks, weights and the water's edge can be hazardous, so children should always be supervised.
