About this product
A 50N buoyancy aid from Plastimo for coasteering, kayaking, river rafting and lake activities. The polyethylene foam floats sit as one block in front and two in the back, and the waist belt, hem and neck all adjust for comfort.
A sturdy, hard-wearing zip and wide elasticated armholes let you move freely, and a loop at the neck lets you hang it on a hook. It's black and yellow, and can be sponge cleaned after use.

Using it safely in three steps
1Zip and adjust
Do up the zip, then adjust the waist, hem and neck so it fits snugly and can't ride up.
2Know its limits
It's a 50N buoyancy aid for able swimmers in suitable conditions, not a lifejacket.
3Clean and hang up
Sponge clean it after use, then hang it up by the neck loop.

Questions before you buy
Is this a lifejacket?
No. It's a 50N buoyancy aid. It helps an able swimmer stay afloat in suitable conditions, but it doesn't self-right an unconscious wearer the way a higher-rated lifejacket does.
Is it suitable for non-swimmers?
No. A 50N buoyancy aid isn't recommended for non-swimmers or rough, open water, where a higher-rated, self-righting lifejacket is the safer choice.
Is there a fishing version?
