Summerleaze is Bude's wide, gently shelving town beach, framed by a stone breakwater and the mouth of the canal and River Neet. Tucked beneath the cliffs at its northern end is the famous Bude Sea Pool, a tidal saltwater pool open since 1930. Sheltered by the breakwater, it is a firm favourite with families and surfers alike.
