Porthcurno

is a dazzling far-west cove, its beach famous for the white crushed seashells that give the sand its pale glow and the sea its turquoise clarity. Sheltered by the Logan Rock headland, it sits beneath the open-air Minack Theatre, carved into the cliffs to form one of Cornwall's most spectacular backdrops.

Porthcurno beach is sheltered by the Logan Rock headland (shown below). Its beach is renowned for its white crushed seashells. The open air theatre - The Minack Theatre - is situated on the cliffs to the west of Porthcurno beach and the beach and Logan Rock headland form a stunning backdrop to the stage.
