The Philip Ross Weather Station

This intriguing and unique instrument combines a beautifully-made brass and wooden Pocket Forecaster, based on ones developed by a leading meteorolists over 100 years ago, with an aneroid barometer set into a wooden desk stand.
Using established meteorological principles, reading from the barometer combined with calendar date and wind direction are set on the forecasters revolving dials and the results interpreted into a simple forecast read from the reverse of the little dial.
The pocket forecaster comes with velveteen drawstring travel pouch and can be used anywhere (British Isles Only) where you have access to a barometric reading and trend.
This would be a real feature piece on any desk or mantelpiece.
